AN INTRODUCTION TO NEO-GARVEYITE FRAMEWORKS FOR ANTI-GLOBALISTS

Marcus Mosiah Garvey was a legend and giant of the Afro-descended people, a champion for freedom and a staunch anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist. When arriving in the United States, he was met with adoration by the New Afrikan oppressed masses. More than this, he was a social scientist.

Race-first meant an upliftment, healing and unity that nothing around it could match. Malcolm X often spoke of his admiration of Garvey. If you ever have the pleasure of befriending a Jamaican immigrant today, the smile you will receive from the name Marcus Garvey will light up a room. Books have been written about him and a whole systemization of his ideas have occurred.

Today neo-Garveyite frameworks fit the movements against globalization like a glove. The liberating pure beauty of its anti-assimilatory Afro-descended nationalism stands beside the rest of the world in a trench of unity and independence.

Yet Western communists and Jews hate or look down upon Marcus Garvey. Why? The answer explains the reactionary social role of Jews within leftist political movements and the very real problem of Western linear thought.

In a nutshell, white communists and socialists were and are cosmopolitan and dogmatic. They saw from Marx that the white proletariat was deeply oppressed by the white bourgeois. Hence, they took the absolutely stupid and idiotic position that the Afro-descended proletariat are oppressed by the Afro-descended bourgeoisie and petty bourgeoisie. In fact, the Afro-descended bourgeoisie and petty bourgeoisie deeply loved the entire Afro-descended masses. The primary contradiction of the Afro-descended people wasn’t one of class contradictions but colonialism and imperialism working against self-determination. The inability of many Western leftists to understand Garvey explains easily their inability to support many anti-imperialist regimes and social movements around the world. It is a very real problem that needs to end immediately.

Second, the Jews hated Garvey as a group. Just as leftist Jews and anti-Zionism espousing Jews are ruining the pro-Palestine camp today, Jews purposely worked against Garvey and the emerging Black Power camp. When Garvey was wrongfully tried for crimes of which he was clearly innocent, Garvey informs us that two ruthless Jews purposely extended the jury deliberations for over ten hours until a guilty verdict was reached. Then a Jewish judge gave Garvey the maximum penalty. Garvey was later deported but his frameworks remained, and they are even more vital now as we approach anti-globalization working models. 

Many anti-globalization activists around the world give exaggerated worth to European-Americans, including their idiotic support for radical anti-Mexican Zionists at the Texas border. We appeal to the peoples of the world to join hands with and better understand the Afro-descended people, their history and their heartbeat.
